For the extra cost, using the indicator only as a reference from time to time, I've had zero issues with the knockoffs on both my street and track CBR. Your delay seems a bit high, mine are nearly instant when switching gears.
Yeah on my 600 the delay was no where near as bad as on the 1000 I'm not sure why

2008 cbr1000rr are 53 pounds heavier than 2007s
You gotta compare the same type of weight measurements. You compared the dry weight of the 07 (no fluids) to the wet weight of the 08 (oil, coolant, and a full tank of gas). In reality their weight is very similar, and the 08 may even be lighter.
Lmk, who does your tachometer. I have 2 2007 cbr1000rr and need the clusters rebuilt both are flickering.

Old is Gold, advance technology is not for everyone. Sick Bike My Brother, prestine condition. Nothing beats the raw machine

dope man, couple things that would really change the ride feel would be a better suspension setup and then the full exhaust + tune, but looking amazing
Agreed! I don't think I would've done the suspension since I don't ride track and mostly use the bike for commuting but I've heard really nice things about the ohlins rear shock!
@@Hooligan_Vlogs Tbh, definitely depends how you ride you're right. I ride at kinda stupid speeds so upgraded suspension makes a huge difference, but as long as you're keeping your forks serviced and stuff you should be fine. it's just a great feeling to have a beautifully tuned bike with suspension that is actually perfect for you vs shocks that have 10 year old oil in them and are spongy af :)
@@user-gt4lu6ym4cyeah when I serviced mine at 40k miles the fluid was black also like 90% of it was missing since the seals were beyondddd blown you believe just how bad that bike was when I brought it home

Given that it's not a track bike no. I have not invested in any suspension mods since what I have is more than adequate for my daily commuting! Had I not gotten rid of the bike I'm sure I would've eventually put it on a track and once I was at the level where a suspension upgrade was needed I would've gladly invested in a Ohlins rear shock
@@Hooligan_Vlogs ah. Okay so definitely an inexperienced rider. Suspension mods don’t just help “track” riding. Casual mountain twisties and even straight line speed stability is improved extremly. The rear shock you do not upgrade until you have done the front anyways. Ohlins is also a great brand but unless if you are spending $10,000 on their top of the line stuff I would not recommend it. Other brands like YSS, adrini and ktech are much more budget friendly. The amount you spent on carbon “mods” you would have been able to upgrade both front and rear and have a much more stable and better handling bike.

I'll pass. don't need it and don't want it for a bike that's primarily used for daily commuting. I have ZERO issues with the stock suspension Not to mention I don't have that bike anymore.

Step 1- buy a GSXR Step 2- ride it forever The 750 especially is a gem. I've seen them with 80,000 miles still making within 5hp of stock. However, it is tricky to find older used machines that haven't been poorly modded or abused. I work at a massive dealership and the only bikes I've never seen in for serious work is the Suzukis. Most ive seen for them is fork seals on older models with lots of road time.
Gixerbrah put his through 7 hells. Still has good compression.

Clearly can't read... let's actually use our brain for a sec okay? Its a 2012 CBR1000RR the tachometer shows I'm in 6th gear and almost at red line. IF it were in KPH it would read about 265mph. Its in MPH Mr. Know it all😂 🤡
